Proof
Here is the proof to show that every once in a while I DO relax a little and let our boys be boys. The other day Jon and I were working outside and while we were I took one (or a couple) deep breaths and allowed them to stop, get pushed over, throw rocks, and just get down right dirty in the mud. It's a step in the right direction for me...and you'll be happy to know I let them do it again twice already this week! Go me.

Zoo Trip
On tuesday the boys and I headed down to La Center where we met up with my bestest Kasey and her two kids Jaxxon and Sophia and then we were off to the Portland Zoo! I had promised the kids they could go and despite the weather forecast of rain we braved it out and went. I am so happy we chose to go, the weather was really nice and ended up being warm. We got a slight drizzle a couple times, but not enough to get you "wet." The kids had an absolute blast and I can't wait to take them down again!
The boys ready to go, they did this themselves, too cute!
Easter
Holidays are always a little crazy with us since both of our extended families live in town, but somehow we usually are able to make it work (thankfully both families are understanding and flexible). For Easter we gave the kids their Easter baskets in the morning at home, and then got ready for church. After a beautiful sacrament meeting we headed out to Jon's parents house where we had a delicious lunch, and an easter egg hunt - one for the kids and another one for the adults! After grandma and granpa Leavitt's house we headed out to my parents house. My mom had cooked a yummy Easter dinner and then the kids were able to go on their 2nd easter egg hunt! They had a blast! We are so grateful for our parents and how willing they are to compromise with us to make sure the kids can visit both.
And although the festivites are always fun, we shouldn't forgot the true meaning of Easter. We are truly grateful for our Savior and the sacrifices he made so that we could return to live with him.

Hair Cut
I finally did it! I cut my hair, said goodbye to 13"! Ten inches went to Locks of Love and 3 were used in styling. I love it and am so glad I did it!
Care Package
Two weeks ago my mother-in-law asked me if I wanted to put something in a care package for my brother-in-law Mike who is serving right now in South Korea, of course I would love too I thought. (Mike hasn't ever met Kenneth and hasn't seen Andrew in about 2 years), so there was a lot of things I wanted to put in it and after debating I decided we would send him one ourselves with lots of fun things in it. We decided that since Easter was only 2 weeks ago we would fill some cammo-filled easter eggs, so fun! :) We also put in some beef jerky, protein bars, protein shakes, videos messages, letters, a picture Andrew drew for him, and some photos. It was a blast putting it together and I hope he knows how PROUD of him we are and how much we love and miss him!!! And he should feel extra special, because I have never sent a care package out before...not even when Jon served a mission...it's kind of a big deal. :) Love you Mike and can't wait for you to come home!!!
