Birthday Cake

As I mentioned prior, I had a fabulous birthday! My family made me feel extra special, I had such a great weekend, but one thing that is quite funny is when I saw my father-in-law that day. As he handed me balloons he asked me if Jon was going to be making me a birthday cake, I quickly responded "probably not, he never has." To which he replied, "well I'd better go buy him one so you get one...." I told him he didn't need too, cause we had plenty of cake at home, Jon just never seems to make me a birthday cake. It's never been a big deal to me, but while we were at dinner, I asked him why he has never made me a birthday cake, and he didn't really have an answer, he just never had. Well what I said at dinner, must've stuck with him, because a couple days later I came home to find the most delicious birthday cake!!! It was sooo good, I ate way more than I should (maybe that's why we don't have it). Either way it was such a sweet surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So here's to many more birthdays with birthday cake!!!
